Without Remorse

On a spring Saturday night in Cork city, Nichola Sweeney and Sinead O’Leary were sitting in Nicholas bedroom doing their hair and makeup, completely unaware that someone was downstairs. The intruder made his way through the unlocked side door into the house, turning off lights as he walked the hallway to the stairs. He quietly ascended to the second floor, still darkening the route out as he went. He didn’t say a word as he entered the bedroom before unleashing an attack that would leave one of the women dead.
